From Sea to Sustenance: Empowering Fisherfolk in Bombon, Pasacao, and Pamplona Through Fish Processing Training

PSFI, through Shell Training Farms Bombon under its Community Skills and Enterprise Development program, trained 105 fisherfolk from Bombon, Pasacao, and Pamplona in safe, value-adding fish processing such as deboning, salting, drying, bottling, and smoking. With BFAR Region V support, the training reduces post-harvest loss, boosts income, and sparks community enterprises.
