MUNTINLUPA CITY, Philippines, 31 July 2026 – Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. (BCFI) and Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI) celebrated the graduation of 100 caregiver scholars from Batches 3 and 4 of the Medical Scholarship Program–Technical Vocational Course (MSP-TVC) at The Bellevue Manila.
Of the 100 graduates, 99 earned their Caregiving NC II certification, marking a 99% certification rate for the graduating batches.
Held under the theme “Emergence: From Learners to Lifelong Caregivers,” the ceremony recognized the scholars’ successful completion of their training and their readiness to pursue professional opportunities in the healthcare sector.
With funding support from BCFI and Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels, Inc., the scholarship program was implemented by PSFI in partnership with CAP Training and Assessment Center Inc. and Asia-Pacific Caregiver & Healthcare Training & Assessment Center.
The barangay local governments of Bagong Pag-asa in Quezon City and Tambo in Parañaque City also supported the program by disseminating scholarship information and helping connect the initiative with potential scholars in their communities.
Through its two components, STEM and Health Courses (SHC) and Technical Vocational Courses (TVC), MSP provides structured educational support to academically qualified but financially challenged students pursuing careers in nursing, medicine, caregiving, and other STEM and health-related fields. Under its multi-year implementation framework from 2023 to 2028, the program combines tuition and educational assistance with mentoring, leadership formation, and values-based development, providing scholars with a holistic approach to personal and professional growth.
From its launch in 2023 through 2025, MSP supported 513 scholars nationwide, including 265 undergraduate students, 48 Doctor of Medicine students, and 200 caregiver technical-vocational students.
Beyond financial assistance, scholars engage in the LEAD Workshop and other developmental activities that strengthen their leadership competencies, personal and interpersonal skills, and professional readiness. These interventions aim to prepare scholars to become competent, responsible, and values-driven healthcare professionals.
In his welcome remarks, PSFI Executive Director Sebastian C. Quiniones Jr. recognized the sacrifices behind the graduates’ achievement, noting that many had balanced their training with work, family responsibilities, financial challenges, and long commutes
Behind every certificate is a story. The greatest success is not measured by how far you go, but by how many lives become better because you chose to serve.
He also emphasized that caregiving requires more than technical competence. It calls for excellence, integrity, compassion, and respect, particularly when caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
Speaking on behalf of Bloomberry Cultural Foundation, Inc. and Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, Solaire Resort North Vice President for Resort Operations Neil Reyes described the scholarship as an investment in education and empowerment.
Growth becomes more meaningful when it is shared. When individuals are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, they become catalysts for positive change in their families and communities.
Reyes encouraged the graduates to carry not only their newly acquired knowledge but also the confidence that they can contribute meaningfully to the future of healthcare.
Representing the graduating class, scholar Shella L. Apinardo expressed appreciation to the instructors, facilitators, program partners, and everyone who supported the scholars throughout their training.
We did not choose an easy profession. We chose a meaningful one. That is the heart of caregiving.
She encouraged her fellow graduates to continue learning and to choose compassion, patience, understanding, and kindness as they enter hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, private homes, and other professional settings.
Following the ceremony, the graduates participated in a job preparation skills session and career fair designed to connect them with prospective employers and recruitment agencies. The activity formed part of PSFI’s commitment to supporting scholars beyond graduation and helping them transition from training to employment.
The event brought together representatives from BCFI, PSFI, Shell Pilipinas Corporation, Solaire Resort North, partner barangay governments, training institutions, employers, trainers, assessors, and other program stakeholders.

Through MSP-TVC, BCFI and PSFI are building a pathway that extends from community-based scholarship promotion and technical training to national certification, career preparation, and potential employment.
