PSFI Recognized as ‘Hero of Hope’ by Childhope Philippines Foundation, Inc.

Through the Medical Scholarship Program (MSP), 513 scholars nationwide are gaining access to education in medicine, nursing, allied health, and caregiving. Backed by comprehensive support and leadership development, the program is producing graduates, board passers, and topnotchers—strengthening the country’s healthcare workforce and expanding opportunities for communities.

What began as a mother’s decision to support her daughter became a shared journey of growth, courage, and self-discovery. Through the Medical Scholarship Program of Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. and Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc., Genevieve and Robie dela Cura found more than an opportunity to learn. Through the LEAD workshop, they gained confidence, strengthened their bond, and discovered that meaningful growth can happen when people step forward together.

Through the LEAD Workshop under the Medical Scholarship Program, Shella Apinardo discovered that caregiving is not only about technical skills, but also about empathy, resilience, and leadership. Supported by Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. and implemented by Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc., the program helps scholars grow into compassionate individuals ready to care for others with purpose.

At LANDAS 2026 in Cagayan de Oro, 120 senior high school students explored future career paths while discovering how Shell goes beyond the forecourt. Through PSFI programs like SKIL and STEP, students gained new perspectives on education, skills development, and community impact.

PSFI and Shell Pilipinas Corporation joined the Fire Prevention Month kick-off in Calapan City, strengthening partnerships with the Bureau of Fire Protection and local responders. Through continued collaboration, joint drills, and upcoming activities, the initiative reinforces community preparedness and a shared commitment to safety.

Through the Joint Delivery Voucher Program (JDVP), Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. is equipping Senior High School learners in Camarines Sur with hands-on agricultural training. With 320 hours of practical learning, students are gaining skills in sustainable farming while preparing for TESDA certification and future livelihood opportunities.
