Empowering Filipino Start-Ups: Shell LiveWire 2025 Showcases Innovation and Partnership

Taguig City, Philippines – August 5, 2025 – The 40th Floor Multipurpose Hall of The Finance Center came alive with the energy of entrepreneurs, industry experts, and partners during the Shell LiveWire Acceleration Program for Tech Start-ups Progress Review Session. The full-day event marked a significant milestone in supporting Filipino innovation and driving collaboration toward a sustainable future.

A Day of Learning and Connection

From 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., participants engaged in a mix of learning, networking, and co-creation. For many, this was the first chance to meet face-to-face after months of virtual sessions from June to August. Conversations flowed easily, with laughter and shared stories replacing the formality of online meetings.

An introduction to the Shell LiveWire program reminded attendees that this gathering was part of Shell’s ongoing commitment to nurture local innovators and help them grow into global changemakers. Warm welcome remarks and an icebreaker session quickly set a collaborative tone.

The morning featured knowledge-sharing sessions on B2B engagement and product design, highlighting how AI can enhance decision-making and expand market opportunities for SMEs. A hands-on workshop saw participants sketching bold ideas, filling whiteboards with possibilities, and co-creating solutions with newfound collaborators.

A key highlight was the Shell Procurement session, which opened pathways for start-ups to enter Shell’s supply chain. For many founders, this signaled an opportunity to scale their businesses through meaningful partnerships.

Dynamic Q&A sessions kept the discussions lively and interactive, while the awarding of recognitions and a group photo capped the morning on a celebratory note.
